Q: What is your role?
A: Advertising Director

Q: How long have you been in student media?
A: 33 years

Q: What are you most proud of at your current Student Media org?
A: I am especially proud of how Rocky Mountain Student Media has been able to adapt to the changing media environment by introducing new revenue streams, while at the same time maintaining strong traditional print revenues. We have fostered relationships with university partners that have allowed us to grow in areas that are not typically growth areas. Covid forced us to get back to some “old school” ways of doing things and in the end it was a step forward instead of a step back. Who knew?!

Q: What is a fun fact about you, your town, your University?
A: I was an advertising sales representative at my college newspaper, The Daily Nebraskan, University of Nebraska. Aside from a couple short stints at our local newspapers, my entire career has been with student media.

A: Tic Tok.

Q: What is your favorite snack on a road trip?
A: Cheese Popcorn. My go to since college days.
